Did you miss Thursday’s mayoral candidate forum. No worries. You can still watch the video.
Mayoral run-off candidates Ahmad Anderson and Claudia Jimenez discussed the most pressing issues facing the city and shared their visions for Richmond’s future. The forum featured a moderated conversation with the candidates followed by a live community Q&A.
About the forum
Richmondside partnered with Richmond Confidential, a publication of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, and The Advocate, the student-led newspaper at Contra Costa College, to co-host and moderate the forum.
About the election
This is Richmond’s first-ever primary run-off election following the 2024 passage of Measure J, a ballot measure that changed the city’s election system. In that race, the top two vote-getter advanced to the Nov. 3 general election.
