April 22: Richmondside mayoral forum
May 4: Mail-in voting begins
May 7: Richmondside District 3 candidate forum

May 18: Last day to register to vote in the primary election
May 29-31: Early polling places open.
June 2: Primary election voting, 7 a.m.-8 p.m. See Contra Costa County polling place locations.
Oct. 19: Last day to register to vote in general election

Incumbent council member Claudia Jimenez is in first place with 34% of the votes cast while Ahmad Anderson has 29%, according to unofficial results.

East Richmond District 4: Incumbent Soheila Bana has been unofficially reelected
The winner needs more than 50% of the votes cast in the race to win, and Bana had 67% as of late Tuesday night.
Contra Costa County voters reject sales and property tax increases
The sales tax needed a majority vote to win while the bond needed 55% “yes” votes.
