Here’s a list of venues in and near Richmond that regularly host live music, DJs and other fun activities. 

Armistice Brewing Company — music and bingo with beer, weekly

The family owned and operated brewery along the Richmond shoreline specializes in IPAs and has a constantly changing variety available. There is live music on Sundays at 2 p.m. as well as bingo on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and trivia nights on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

The Backyard — outdoor beer and wine garden with live music, Thursdays-Sundays

This dog and family friendly outdoor beer and wine garden on Cutting Boulevard doubles as a community gathering spot, with food, live music and occasional karaoke nights.

The Backyard, Thursdays through Sundays, 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., 205 Cutting Blvd. Check their calendar for food truck schedules and event details.

The Factory Bar — cocktails, trivia, karaoke and comedy, weekly

This 21-and-over craft cocktail bar with a garden patio considers itself the unofficial home of the Richmond Historical Society. Dogs on leash and outside food are welcome. Weekly programming includes trivia on Mondays, karaoke on Tuesdays, comedy on the first Wednesday of every month and food trucks on select evenings.

The Factory Bar, 12517 San Pablo Ave., Mondays-Wednesdays, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Thursday and Friday, 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturdays, 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Sundays, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Check their calendar for event details.

The Knot Club — waterfront bar with live music and DJs, Fridays

This bar,  formerly known as The Clubhouse at Point San Pablo Harbor,  features an outdoor deck with a fire pit. Expect live music and DJ-spun records alongside beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic drinks. Open Fridays only.

Little Hill Lounge — live and DJ jazz to rock sets, nightly

This El Cerrito bar keeps the music going every night of the week, with local bands playing everything from jazz to rock alongside occasional DJ sets and B-movie nights.

The Planetarium — punk, indie rock, film and comedy, Fridays-Saturdays

This all-ages alcohol-free performance venue hosts punk and indie rock music, film screenings, stand-up comedy and open mic nights. 

The Planetarium, Fridays and Saturdays, 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. 5327 Jacuzzi St. Check their calendar for showtimes and ticket information.

Sailing Goat Restaurant — waterfront dining and live music, Fridays-Sundays

Bayfront cuisine, sunset views and live music make this outdoor waterfront restaurant at Point San Pablo Harbor a popular weekend destination. Live music runs Fridays through Sundays.

Windchaser Wine Company — urban winery and tasting room, weekends

This working urban winery produces small-batch wines from California wine regions and opens its tasting room to the public on weekends. Entertainment includes occasional jazz and ukulele music, plus a “First Friday Out” live music and food pop-up patio event on the first Friday of each month.

Windchaser Wine Company, Fridays, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., 1352 S. 49th St. Check their calendar for event details.
