The Rendez Vous
The Rendez Vous, a little French bistro tucked in next to the BART tracks on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., has officially shuttered, per an Instagram announcement. Known for its eclectic, rustic chic interior and contemporary French fare, the Rendez Vous was recently named in Eater’s list of the most beautiful restaurants in the East Bay and served customers for three years before calling it quits. The Rendez Vous was located at 5526 Martin Luther King Jr. Way (at 56th Street) in Oakland.
