Edible Arrangements
Yelpers have reported that the Edible Arrangements shop in Berkeley has closed, and it’s no longer listed on the corporate site. The chain shop is known to be a go-to for buying gifts, like chocolate covered strawberries or fruits on a stick, arranged like a bouquet. Edible Arrangements, 3079 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley.
Trumer Brewery & Taproom
Firestone Walker Brewing Co. has acquired Trumer’s U.S. operations, Brewer Magazine first reported. Firestone plans to move the Trumer Pils brewing operations to Paso Robles. The Berkeley brewery, owned by the Gambrinus Co., first opened in Berkeley in 2004, making Trumer Pils for U.S. fans of the Austrian-based beer. In 2023, a large taproomopened to the general public (a smaller taproom that only served the signature pilsner was accessible to tour guests previously). Firestone acquired the rights to brew Trumer Pils in the United States, but Gambrinus Co. still owns the Berkeley brewery and taproom and decided to close the facility. The last day will be May 29. Trumer Taproom, 1404 Fourth St., Berkeley.
