It’s Election Day and Nosh loves democracy almost as much as a double-baked almond croissant.

Got your sticker? Alright, now on to the fun stuff. It’s time to give some flowers to the restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, and other food and drink purveyors that have made 2025 fantastically flavorful.

The Nosh Awards (ballot below) are bigger than ever this year. We’ve added four new categories, and there was a record number of nominations for the second year in a row. If you missed the two-week nomination period this year, be sure to sign up for the Nosh newsletter so you stay up to date on the latest happenings in food and dining across the East Bay, including the announcement of the Nosh Award winners in the first weeks of December.

Don’t wait to cast your ballot for all 10 categories: Best New Restaurant, Best Restaurant Overall, Best Restaurant Special Occasions, Best Bakery, Best Coffee Shop, Best Breakfast, Best New Bar, Best Bar Overall, Best Beer Garden/Taproom, Best Wine Bar. Voting is open through Sunday, Nov. 23.

The voting period for the 2025 Nosh Awards is now closed.
