Where to see live music in Richmond and more things to do at local watering holes the week of Oct. 31-Nov. 6

Live music on the waterfront. Enjoy live music at the outdoor waterfront Sailing Goat restaurant, with views of San Francisco Bay at San Pablo Harbor. The Sailing Goat, 1900 Stenmark Drive, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free.

Tunes at The Backyard, a kid and dog friendly outdoor beer and wine garden with a full menu and live music. This weekend’s line-up includes the 4th Annual Halloween Fest & Backyard Anniversary Party, which will feature a costume contest, trick-or-treating and live music from guitarist Nilo Ayele on Fri., Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Backyard, 205 Cutting Blvd. Free.

Karaoke at The Factory Bar. Karaoke lights up the stage on Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  On Fri., Oct. 31, there will be a Raise the Spirits Halloween Party that will include a costume contest, a “wheel of misfortune” and music from DJ Sirslushalot from 7 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. That will be followed on Sat., Nov. 1, by a Howl-a-Ween Contest and Party for dogs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. DJ Sirslushalot returns on Thur., Nov. 6, to spin more tunes from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Factory Bar, 12517 San Pablo AveFree.

Windchaser Wine Co. This weekend’s events include a Halloween party with very colorful family friendly band, The Heebie Jeebies, on Fri., Oct. 31, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Costumes “strongly encouraged.” Windchaser Wine Co., 1352 S. 49th St. Free.

BiancoVerde at Hotel Mac. This Italian restaurant at the historic Hotel Mac in Point Richmond features bluegrass music every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. as well as a Nat King Cole tribute from local musician Eugene Barnes every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. BiancoVerde at Hotel Mac, 50 Washington Ave.

Trivia nights at Armistice Brewing Company. Show off your knowledge of random facts on trivia nights, Wednesdays at 7 p.mArmistice Brewing Company, 845 Marina Bay Parkway, Suite 1. Free.

Little Hill Lounge. This vintage bar in El Cerrito boasts an eclectic array of music programming, with shows almost nightly that feature everything from ambient jazz, country, karaoke and rock to interesting DJs. This weekend’s lineup includes a Halloween Party with Cooler Heads DJs and Wuthering Frights on Fri., Oct. 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Little Hill Lounge, 10753 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito. Free.

Shop, dine, enjoy live music. The Annex, an area for shopping, dining and relaxing adjacent to The Natural Grocery Company’s El Cerrito store, features live music on most Wednesday evenings. The Annex, 10387 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito.
